  • A comprehensive eye exam evaluates your vision, eye health, and overall visual system. Our optometrists assess prescription changes, eye coordination, focusing ability, and screen for conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. 


  • The Canadian Association of Optometrists recommends a child's first comprehensive eye exam between 6 and 9 months of age. Annual eye exams are recommended throughout childhood to support healthy visual development and learning.

  • Yes. We direct bill many major insurance providers, including Alberta Blue Cross, Canada Life, Sun Life, Manulife, Green Shield, Medavie Blue Cross, and many others. Please contact us if you have questions about your specific plan.

  • Yes. Our clinic features an in-office finishing lab equipped with advanced lens edging technology. Depending on your prescription and lens requirements, same-day glasses may be available. Contact us to learn more.

  • Absolutely. Dry eye is common in Alberta's climate. We offer comprehensive dry eye evaluations and personalized treatment recommendations to improve comfort, reduce irritation, and support long-term eye health.

  • Yes. We provide urgent eye care for conditions such as eye injuries, infections, inflammation, foreign bodies, flashes and floaters, sudden vision changes, and other ocular emergencies. If you are experiencing an eye emergency, please contact us immediately.

  • In most cases, no referral is required to book an eye exam or consultation with our optometrists. You can contact us directly to schedule an appointment.

  • Yes. Regular diabetic eye examinations are important for detecting diabetic retinopathy and other vision-threatening complications. We recommend annual diabetic eye exams for patients living with diabetes.
